Hey party peeps! I am so excited about this DIY Halloween Serving Tray! I have been meaning to share a tutorial for this bad boy for almost two years, now! So here it is-the moment you (or maybe just I) have been waiting for…
I will probably say this in almost every post from now until Christmas, and then again next year around this time- HALLOWEEN IS MY FREAKING FAVORITE! I’m a big creep all year round, it’s just more widely accepted during this time of year. 😉
Not only do I love Halloween, but I LOVE hosting parties… put the two together and I’m in my own little festive heaven!
This DIY Halloween serving tray is perfect for any Halloween party!
First, head on down to your local dollar store to grab your supplies. I will say this about dollar store holiday decor- get it while the gettins’ good! Like now! They switch out their inventory so often, before you know it, it’ll all be Christmas stuff and their Halloween decorations will be nowhere to be found.
Here’s what you’ll need:
-plastic rat, mine’s name is Ratfink. Naming isn’t necessary, but highly recommended.
This is such an easy DIY. All you need to do is glue the bowl and plastic rat directly onto the plate. Don’t place the bowl in the center of the plate because it doesn’t leave enough room for chips. Glue the bowl off-centered on the plate first, then attach the rat on the side of the bowl. You’ll want to place the rat so it looks like he (or she!) is looking into the bowl.
That’s it! Now, once the glue is dry, add some dip to the bowl and spread chips or veggies onto the plate, around the rat.
If you want to try the best dip you’ve ever eaten in your entire life, check out one of my most popular recipes to date, HERE. It’s seriously SO good.
Thanks for reading! Stay tuned for more RAD Halloween stuff! Creepy is what I do best! 😉
